We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Oh, really? So those vile comments would have been acceptable, if only fewer people had died? Really? Shall we scrutinize the timeline and juxtapose the 'known dead' and the scale of destruction against the time that she posted this hateful message? It's a giveaway qualification, isn't it? A non-apology. I think she hasn't received the backlash that she deserves.

Many libs assume that they are the good people, and those who disagree with them are the bad people. One more case of a lib assuming that everyone---or at least all the good people---will agree with them, only to be surprised that there are a lot of people who disagree with them.

Vilification of partisan opponents is exhibited by many on both sides of the political divide. If you want examples of those on the political right who assume those who disagree with them are bad people, you could start with the President’s remarks for Independence Day, “But all of the things that we’ve given, and they wouldn’t vote. Only because they hate Trump. But I hate them, too. You know that? I really do, I hate them.“

Still trying to defend the indefensible! The covid vaccine did not work, does not work and saved zero lives. MRNA vaccines were an experiment but not intended to be more effective but rather to be more profitable. Now the propaganda machine is working overtime because they must hide what they did. They killed a lot of people, they infringed on everyone's constitutional rights and they did this crime of the century to try to coverup a massive election fraud.

I am a pureblood, where I hear we are now only about 20% of the population, but the fact that McCullough is hyping a detox takes his credibility down to zero. Sorry.

I did not take the vax because I had a strong fear of the side effects. I now experience the "rare" muscle damage side effects of statins, which the doctors now say may never go away.

We have 5 or more years still before we know what really going on with the vax.

It is rare until it happens to you. Best thing would be is it that could happen to more people who say it is "rare" and shut those dismissive people up.

By the way, that's when they had "real" vaccines. The rate of death from variolation was about 1-2%, while the rate of death from smallpox was about 30%.

The progressives had control of the Supreme Court in the court packing scheme of the 30's and their control lasted right up until Ginsburg. Their abortion decision was the most disastrous of all. They simply 'legislated' the outcome along with other decisions to include disguised race quotas.
